SYS Day 6 again -Thank you

Can you tell I really love this idea of cutting out of the side of the card. I knew this was one set I was excited to try . The Daisy is from MFT stamps. the paper that is sassafraslass I knew I wanted to use this and I had a heck of a time finding I thought I a lot turns out I have less than a half a sheet. I am bummed. And my only local scrapbook store is now closed boohoo......

SYS day 6 butterflys

Ok I know Day 6 again right? Well Get over it lol I still have one more post to share after this one. ; ) I loved this idea so I made two butterfly cards and scrap paper yet again from Amy Butler(I just love her style) paper the butterflies and from beautiful butterflies by papertrey ink. Since the stamps are solid I made my own design in the wings. I so can't draw but I did my best and I like the result. I really like them both but I think the orange one is my favorite.

SYSDay 5 Birthday Happiness

I love the card that Jennifer McGuire did for SYS day 5 so I did my own spin on this card. I love clouds and sunshine and hot air balloons. Abby and I will go out side early before the bus comes (of corse during school) and see what we can see in the clouds we always have fun doing that the crazy thing we ever saw was a cloud crocodile and a baby one that was bigger than our house..... Ok now on to my card. I used Hero Arts cards. My slice vintage finding for the sun Papertry ink up up and away hot air balloons. Papertreyink clouds as MFT clounds and the inner sun is from MFT. I cut 2" from the top of the card and scored two lines across.

SYS- Day 4 Hello You Friends

So It is day 4 of class I am jumping all around here I will be trying to do day 3 this weekend. LOL I know but with summer here and the kids are all coming over to swim or we are going to Kings Island I don't get a lot of time to play. So this card has an isteresting little story. I watched the viedo from Julie Ebersole in class and loved the acatate stamped overlay So i decided to try it again. I have done it in the past and was not happy with it so I gave it another go and love it. I stamped the circles from Hero arts and set it a side I didn't know what i was going to do next. Julie used Kraft my least favorite card stock but i went ahead with it. and I was still stumped. My Mom was sitting in my spot cutting card stock that I shared with her ( I know you can never have to much card stock but when you have WRmemory keepers and there is 4 sheets of the same color I share. But then we share everything) so she was cutting it down to 6x6 we love 6x6 it is easier to use and die cut with. well there was this little strip that she cut off and threw in the trash at first I didn't see it. She got up and went upstairs to get a drink and i looked over to see how much she had cut and I looked in the trash and there it was all these wonderful colored strips. So i took them out of the trash and I knew I had my treasure. I used them in this card and the  next one but I used the wholes in this one just to go with the circles..... Friends was a chip board shape my mom and I got at michaels in the dollar bin. Hello You is from Papertrey ink. and of course the card stock is from WRmemory keepers.TFL

Day 1 - Happy Birthday Enjoy Your Special Day

Well it's that time again for Online Card classes I so enjoying this class and today is only Day1

I really loved Jennifer McGuire's rainbow effect with the distress inks and the lattice background stamp. Which sadly I have to say I had either so I used this stamp I found at Hobby Lobby, It was on a block which I didn't want so I pulled it and used it as a cling. I embossed with white and used Faber Castell watercolor pencils. I love these once you get them wet and let them dry the are permanent.I also used papertrey ink beautiful butterflies for the Happy Birthday and postage stamp set.
